Hello, I’m Brandon Nickerson, an American wildlife biologist and photographer.
I’ve worked in natural resources conservation and management for over 20 years and have been fortunate to work in both western North America and southern Africa. Over that time, my camera has served both as a scientific tool and as a way to creatively engage with the animals and habitats I’ve encountered.
Today, I combine science, photography, and a bit of writing to (hopefully) tell compelling stories about the natural world and its wonderful inhabitants — whether furry, feathered, or finned.
Thanks for joining me here and being part of that journey to educate and inspire. Wishing you many fulfilling adventures and I'll see you out there!
